What is TAP?
The Tune-Up Assistance Program (TAP) provides free support to eligible homeowners in maintaining their natural gas furnaces. By ensuring regular furnace maintenance and filter replacement, warm air circulation is improved, the furnace’s workload is reduced, indoor air quality is enhanced, and the risk of carbon monoxide is minimized. TAP is exclusively offered by participating SaskEnergy Network Members which Gibbon Heating and Air Conditioning is one of them.
What does TAP Include:
- Receive a Free Network Home Tune-Up, a carbon Monoxide alarm, two furnace filters and up to $200 in repairs (if required)—a value of close to $400.(CAD)
How to Qualify:
- Applications are based on a first come first serve basis
- If you received a TAP between June 2022 and February 2023 you don’t qualify
- If you earn more than a combined household income of $68,000 you don’t qualify
- You must live within a 25 km radius of a participating SaskEnergy Network Member Community.
- If you are a renter you don’t qualify.
- It must be your principal home, rental properties don’t qualify.
- The application must be submitted prior to November 30, 2023
How Do You Know If You Qualified For TAP?
If your application has been approved, you will receive a letter or email from Sask Energy within 3 to 4 weeks of your application. You will receive a certification and instructions on how to book your TAP.
All certifications from this program must be used before January 31, 2024.
